Antique 19th Century Dough Bowl

Beautiful 19th Century Welsh Dough Bowl, sometimes called a Pippin Bowl as it was used to hold Pippin apples. The bowl is quite large and made from hand thrown earthenware with deep red unglazed exterior. The interior is glazed a creamy yellow with a typical brown line detail around the rim. Minor aged damage chip to the rim shown in the photographs.
